On Sunday, 30 November, I am organising a “Dag-Zitting”, a day where we come together to sit in silence and observe what is alive within us. An invitation to remind ourselves of the beauty of our human experience, using the medicine of silence and sitting to go deeper into our own presence. During this day, there will be several guided meditations as well as open periods to sit in silence, both interspersed with subtle movement meditations.
“A day of Silence
Can be a pilgrimage in itself.”
— Hafez
This one-day retreat takes place in the charming Rijnkapel in Amerongen. The day includes a communal, intentional opening (and closing), several periods of guided meditation, a vegan meal and poetic reflections to support the meditative practice, as well as tools for continuing this in daily life. (Please note that this day is accessible to both people who are completely new to meditation and those who are already accustomed to or even advanced in their own practice).
Disclaimer: If there are too few participants, we reserve the right to change the location due to the costs involved. People will be notified in good time if this is the case.
