On Saturday, August 2, Sven is organising a Tea Ceremony in collaboration with Regenerate Delft. Tea has been shared for centuries all over the world as a healing medicine. It was originally considered a holy sacrament. Particularly in the East, it has a rich, meditative tradition in which it is practiced as a “Way”. A method for spiritual development in which people come together in silence, where the leaf meets the water.

On this morning we gather around the teapot. We drink a lovingly prepared cup of tea in a ceremonial and intentional way. We open with a meditation from which we enter the silence, in the silence there will be several rounds/steepings in which the tea is served. During the ceremony there is mainly silence from which there is room for poetry. After the tea we close together before we head home with a warmed heart.
This evening will take place at the Regenerate Station in Delft.
